'In The Garden'

I'm back ! Hopefully my computer will behave so that I can get back to enjoying looking at my favourite blogs and sharing my love for crafting with you.

So here goes, this weeks My Time To Craft Challenge was 'In The Garden', so I would like to share with you two scrapbook pages done with photo's of my two boys from 1997 (Zachary 4 and Joshua 2). These were done as a double page spread as that is how I always like to work when scrapbooking.







I may possible be slightly bias but don't they look cute!!

And how time flies because this week Zachary had his school prom! Here he is dressed for the night.




This was certainly out of his comfort zone wearing a suit as he is normally in jeans and football shirt like most teenagers but considering he was not looking forward to the evening Zac said it had been a great night.

Knitting ( Yes you've not read that wrong it does say knitting!!!)

Fozzie, Zachary & Joshua are away today watching Glasgow Rangers ( they are season ticket holders, this may not sound too surprising but bare in mind we do live in Leeds not Scotland).Must add that they have won the SPL today so all three will be happy bunnies when they arrive home later tonight.
As my laptop is still playing silly beggars when connecting to the internet I am using Fozzie's to add this post and to visit some of my favourite blogs, but I have not been idle over the last few weeks and just thought I would like to show you what I've been doing. Firstly it must be some twenty years since I last did any knitting but suddenly I got the urge. I've started of simply and they may not be perfect but I have enjoyed doing a few basic things.




No buttons yet as I'm still looking for some.






The wrap pictured above is my favourite and will be extremely cozy to wear in Autumn/Winter.

Right that's enough of my ramblings I'm off to visit a few blogs and catch up with what you are all up to and to get inspired.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

Unfortunately I have been having computer problems ( yet again! ) and keep losing internet connection even though other computers in the house and games consoles are having no problems, so it must be my computer that has the problem. Repairing it will have to wait as other things are taking priority financially so I’m only able to get on the internet to view my favourite blogs occasionally, so please except my apologise for not leaving comments as I have only tried to see as much as I can. Sorry!

This ATC has been created for Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge which is to include ‘FLOWERS’ on you project.

Materials

Card - K&Company Classic Margo Mat Pad, Tag Pad
Die - Flowers by Cuttlebug
Other - Wire, Adhesive Stones

Love using these Cuttlebug dies , for the butterfly I have cut into the flower and taken just two petals to create the wings.

Tag You're It !

This is the first time I have made a tag specifically for a challenge but when I saw the design teams tags on the Tag You're It blog which are fabulous I decided to have ago. Only had an hour for this but desperately wanted to use my new K&Company products, sorry about the quality of the photo but the weather hear is mixed and ever time I get the camera out the sun goes in and the heavens open.

'Motherhood is not for whimps!!!'

How true is that saying?
Unfortunately my youngest son Joshua has been poorly lately and was given some penicillin for tonsillitis and an inhaler because he was wheezing. Then he had an allergic reaction to the medication and came out in a rash ALL over his body which was extremely itchy. Due to Joshua's medical history ( he was diagnosed with ALL ( Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was 5 )the doctor decided he had to check with the hospital before any further treatment could be given. I know the doctor was only being thorough but watching Joshua in pain and so uncomfortable was so hard. Finally new medication was prescribed and all now seems to be getting better.
Sorry about the ramblings of a tired and concerned mother, I'm sure many of you can understand and relate to this.

Here's a picture of Joshua taken earlier in the year , I wonder does he need his hair cutting?



Hopefully I will be posting a card in a couple of days, all my fat pages for the swap on the Joanna Sheen forum were posted out several days ago so now I have some time for other crafting.

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #33

Decided on another ATC for this weeks Dutch Dare Challenge which is to create 'a thank you card', but I must apologise for the poor picture.

Colouring - Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, Ink pad
Other - Beads, Ribbon, Computer ( for the message)
